Q: I have a known exhaust leak on my 95 integra on the header right before it connects to my pipe...i can see a little smoke comming from it when i shut it off...and i also hear a loud rattle when i accelerate...could i be losing significant hp from this....and is there any other way of fixing this without getting it welded...ex. header wrap?
A: If the pipe is broken / cracked, you'll have to fix it right. There's no patch that'll hold up to the hi temp that close to the engine. Yeah, you are losing HP & mileage.
